CAVIAHUE COPAHUE
Caviahue and Copahue are two unique hidden towns in Patagonia with 500 metres difference in altitude where you can find the only active volcano in Argentina and one of the best healing hot springs in the world. It is also known as the most similar place to Antarctica in the continent.
During winter, the conditions get extremely harsh so it is quite difficult to get to Copahue. People even leave the small town completely empty buried in snow. However, we hopped on snow trucks and, escorted by many snowmobiles, we headed to the top. As you can imagine, we experienced some troubles on the way which made this adventure even more interesting.
Riding a snowmobile in a white desert was such a unique experience. Never felt freedom quite like this.
